Megaman X3 Zero Project is a modified variation of the Mega Man X3 video game. This version is regarded as distinct from the original Zero Project because it has a system that has been rewritten from the ground up and distinct features that users may or may not like. Zero's Z-Saber has been nerfed in accordance with the game's changes, and each boss takes a different quantity of damage from it. However, if you choose to 'damage' him and grant X his Z-Sabre, the Saber wave's damage remains unchanged. When fighting Mosquitus, the boss that damages Zero, there is a pre-boss warning where the main menu loads and X warns Zero of the impending peril.
