Welcome to the world of exciting mechanical adventures! In the world of Megaman, you play as the cool humanoid robot named Megaman and try to save mankind from the hands of evil robots. Advance through Robot Masters’ domains and gain useful abilities in these adrenaline-filled side-scrolling action platformer titles at Megaman Games!

The Megaman games series, which Akira Kitamura created, follows the adventures of a blue-helmeted robot by the name of Megaman as he attempts to save humanity from extinction. Megaman was originally created as a humanoid robot named Rock, along with his sister Roll and six other robots, by Dr. Light to aid humans in their everyday chores. Rock was a lab assistant, Roll was a housekeeper, and the other robots were industrial workers. Things turned sour when Dr. Wily, an old friend and fellow scientist of Dr. Light, grew jealous of the latter’s success. He decided to steal the six industrial robots and turn them into weapons capable of mass destruction in an attempt to take over the world. To counter this, Rock was converted into Megaman by Dr. Light, and he set out to stop Dr. Wily’s plan of world dominance with his new Robot Masters. His journey continues as he fights against Dr. Wily’s many attempts and gains more cool gadgets after each game. Today, the Megaman games are still played and beloved by fans worldwide.

One of the most interesting factors that makes Megaman one of the most famous game franchises is the gameplay design. As the player progresses through each level and defeats the Robot Master, Megaman gains the ability to harness that Robot Master’s special weapon. There are six elements or objects represented by each Robot Master’s name, namely fire (Fire Man), ice (Ice Man), physical strength (Guts Man), scissor-like blades (Cut Man), electricity (Elec Man), and bombs (Bomb Man).
