Mega Man X is the second line of platform games that Capcom has put out. The gameplay is like the other NES Mega Man games. At the end of each stage, beating the boss character gives the player a new tool that can be switched and used whenever they want for the rest of the game. But Mega Man X adds a lot of new features and changes the way the game is played in a big way compared to the other games in the series. Some of these let players dash along the ground, climb up walls, and get special powers from armor attachments.
