Mario Gives Up

Mario Gives Up is a Super Mario World ROM hack with significant alterations. Mario was the one who suggested that Peach fake her own death by falling into the lava. After that, he embarks on a journey for no apparent reason, all the while being pursued by a spirit. Second, because there is no Princess to abduct, Bowser and the rest of the Koopalings play a very little role in the story, and the focus is instead placed on a number of bosses who are each wholly original.
