Mario Party Advance is a Game Boy Advance video game in the Mario Party series. In contrast to console titles, this game is primarily single-player and lacks a four-player mode.

The player can choose between Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. Similar to previous Mario Party titles, the player maneuvers a vehicle around the party table. Depending on the chosen character, the player will begin the game in a separate section of the board. The participant begins the game with four mushrooms. Three previously played minigames must be won in order to acquire additional fungi. When there are no more mushrooms, the game ends. The Multiplayer Team mode that was available in all previous Mario Party games has been supplanted by "Shroom City." The objective of the game is to collect all of the minigames and "Gadgets" scattered throughout Shroom City by Bowser by accomplishing quests given by various Shroom City residents.
