For the fifth time, you'll be in control of the popular duo as you guide them through temples filled with traps and maze-like levels. Clearing a path for both of your elemental characters to the conclusion of each level necessitates navigating hazards including lava pools, water puddles, buttons, levers, platforms, and more. The exciting new journey has begun!
At first glance, a guy made of fire and a girl made of water might not seem like a good match. However, despite their seemingly irreconcilable differences, these two elemental characters work together to get where they can't. Here is where you, the player, assume responsibility for the actions of both protagonists. These elemental characters, like their counterparts in the other games in the series, have both vulnerabilities and protections. Lavaboy is another name for Fireboy since he can safely traverse lava flows. But when he comes into contact with water, Watergirl, his mate, can put out his blazing inferno. Watergirl, like Fireboy, is immune to the effects of her element, but she can't walk on molten rock or fire without being destroyed. You will fail the level if either of the two characters dies. To progress through each level, you'll need to use careful control of these two characters to access the necessary levers, buttons, and other elements. The temples in Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements range from the forest temple to the temple of light. Take care as you navigate the temples' unique systems and get the elemental couple to safety. If you don't feel like experiencing this journey on your own, feel free to bring a friend or relative along.
